Xbox announced that the world-renowned franchises and talented people at Activision Blizzard will be joining Team Xbox on January 18, 2022, bringing the questions about when Call of Duty will be add to the Xbox Game Pass Library?
The deal worth $68.7bn (£50.5bn), would be Microsoft’s biggest ever buyout and the largest deal in gaming history. It would see the US firm owning popular gaming franchises including Call of Duty, Warcraft and Overwatch. Expers says that the deal would be a major step for Microsoft’s Xbox gaming brand in its battle against Sony’s PlayStation. (See)
When Call of Duty will add to Xbox Library?
It will be possible to see the Call of Duty game on Xbox Game Pass after the purchase and integration is complete. It is not yet known whether there will be an increase in Xbox Game Pass prices.

What is COD?
Call of Duty is a first-person shooter video game franchise published by Activision. Starting out in 2003, it first focused on games set in World War II. Over time, the series has seen games set in the midst of the Cold War, futuristic worlds, and outer space. The games were first developed by Infinity Ward, then also by Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games. Several spin-off and handheld games were made by other developers. The most recent title, Call of Duty: Vanguard, was released on November 5, 2021.

How many subscribers are there?
Microsoft’s subscription gaming service, Xbox Game Pass, has over 25 million subscribers. At a minimum of $10 per month, Microsoft is bringing in a quarter billion dollars every month. If subscriber numbers stay flat, Microsoft is on track to bring in approximately $4 billion on Game Pass in 2022.
